3 Big Red Flags I’ve Seen as an OBM

After being an OBM for quite some time, you start to see things business owners do that are....well less than ideal - so let’s dive in:

🚩Red flag #1: Bending over backwards & crossing boundaries just to make a sale.

We all want sales & to reach our income goals. But when you’re having to convince someone your program is worth the investment - those aren’t your people to begin with.

🚩Red flag #2: Not using contracts or terms & conditions on your offers.

We all want to believe the best in every person that purchases an offer, but people can be shitty sometimes.

It sucks, but I’ve seen it happen countless times and then you’re stuck picking up the pieces bc someone decided to default on a payment plan. Having that T&C in place definitely reduces your chance to have that happen.

🚩Red flag #3: Hiring an OBM or a VA and think it’s the end all, be all solution to your sales not happening.

Yeah, this one might be a little harsh but, delegating doesn’t always equal a rise in sales.

It totally can, because in essence, you’re cleaning up your processes & systems to create flow and simplicity, BUT if you stop showing up in your business just bc you hired help...nah those aren’t the vibes babe. And you shouldn’t put that pressure on them either.

I’m curious, what are some red flags you’ve seen recently in the online space or in your business?
